I am currently importing a large backlog of posts to this blog from my old tumblr site. The fact that I love this route despite the crushing pain probably says a lot about my personality… but I don’t care. Save often.Įven the normal ending of this route is really painful, not gonna lie. Ukyo’s route was honestly my favorite, but it’s also scary as shit for a lot of reasons, including the fact that there are seven bad endings (as opposed to like TWO in the other routes) and they all end in death. If you’re playing his route you should have seen enough of him to get the feeling that he knows something you don’t, and not because MC has amnesia. I didn’t trust him until I ignored his advice and MC died in a fire on day 1. Pay attention to when the scary music plays, okay? There was something that I picked up on right away that helped me get pretty far without need of a walkthrough, so just… uh… Dang this is hard not to spoil. You should also probably be really, really afraid of him. *coughcough* bepreparedformurder *coughcough* His route basically answers why all the freaky stuff (such as it being really cold in August and Ukyo himself showing up everywhere and making weird references to other routes) is happening. Ukyo is a precious baby with Grell’s haircut who needs to be protected at all costs. In order to keep this as spoiler-free as possible, I’m going to have to be kind of vague. How I spent the majority of the route: “NO WAIT WHAT I DIED AGAIN?” “WHAT IS EVEN HAPPENING?” *muffled screeching* *general confusion* ![]() ![]() I’m not sure if you have to have all the endings to unlock it or not (I always play through and get all the endings before moving on to a new route), but after you play the first four you can go back to the prologue, and the option for “Joker World” should now be available. In order to get to Ukyo’s story you must first play the other four routes. He’s also a sad boy with stupid hair, which means he’s my type. He’s the person that makes you go “Why the heck are you actually here? What is your purpose?” You find that out pretty quick… after his route unlocks. Ukyo is basically the random creeper character on the other four routes that warns about ominous things to come. ![]()
